 Why do stairs cost extra to clean?  To properly clean stairs there is much more work involved than cleaning an area of wall to wall carpet.  Watch the video to the right to see a demonstration of our stair cleaning carpeted service (w/optional riser cleaning). Note the extra dry strokes taken. These extra dry stroke dramatically reduce the dry time (will cut up to 4 hours off). Stairs are priced at $2 each (landings count as 2 stairs). The optional riser cleaning is $1 per stair. we include stain spotting and pre-treatment in our stair cleaning process.  If you need the stairs vacuumed we can do that for you. (additional $1 per stair).  Proper cleaning of your stairs is very important because stairs usually take the most abuse of your carpeted areas. Vacuum them often and have them professionally cleaned every 6 months otherwise permanent fiber damage can occur.  Typically carpet replacement of stairs is significantly more expensive that a wall to wall carpeted area.
